“I’ve always enjoyed helping people through challenges in their life. I was a nurse for over 20 years before being offered an opportunity in the rehabilitation field to provide case management and life care planning. It truly is meaningful and impactful. It combines my clinical knowledge, problem-solving skills and my natural disposition to be compassionate. Every person’s situation is unique. They’ve gone through a hard time in their life, and their injuries can impact their lives in so many ways.
I’m a good listener, focused on understanding their needs, what they’ve experienced, their challenges, and goals. I try to create a rapport of trust, so people feel comfortable talking openly.
On the personal side, I am a very avid golfer, so I spend a lot of time on the golf course. I love to cook, and of course I love spending time with my family, including our two dogs.”
